Kylie Jenner almost had a completely different “K” name.
As you’re probably aware, every one of Kris Jenner’s daughters was given a name that starts with the letter K. You’ve got Kourtney, Khloé, and Kim Kardashian from her marriage to the late attorney Robert Kardashian, as well as Kendall and Kylie Jenner from her second marriage to former Olympian and Republican politician Caitlyn Jenner. Kris’s only son, Rob Kardashian, was named after his father, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the famed momager had floated the idea of calling him Kevin or Kyle.
Speaking of alternate name realities, Kylie revealed that she was almost given a completely different moniker that closely resembles her sister Kendall’s name. Hopping on the popular TikTok trend where users share pictures of themselves while comparing their names to the ones their parents almost chose, Kylie told her 46.1 million followers that they could’ve been keeping up with Kennedy Jenner this whole time. “Doesn’t hit the same,” she captioned the video, which featured the song “I Love Kanye” by her ex-brother-in-law in the background.
“Ok but Kendall and Kennedy go really well together,” one TikTok user commented, while another wrote, “No Kennedy would have been elite and rich coastal girl vibes.” Of course, many fans were distracted by her choice to use a Kanye West track for the video. “The song choice is killing me,” one user wrote in all caps, while another replied, “The Kanye song….”
I would say that the Kardashian-Jenner clan could keep the unused name in their back pocket for future family members, but none of Kris’s children have continued the tradition so far. Of course, Kylie has yet to share the name of her six-month-old son with Travis Scott, who was previously known as Wolf Webster. “FYI our son’s name isn’t Wolf anymore,” Jenner shared on her Instagram Stories in March. “We just really didn’t feel like it was him.” Have you considered Kennedy?
